Default 1986 L98 Flange Torque Specs

Trying to tighten my exhaust back on, but even at 30ft-lbs, its still leaking. Should I go tighter?

Did you use new gaskets? Is the flange warped?

I could be wrong, but I thought the exhaust flange was a metal on metal ball and cup connnection, no gasket. Flange doesnt look warped.

Oh, I thought you were talking about the header flange that bolts onto the head. Strike my last comment.
