Quick ratio rack in a 90?
guy that owns the old Z wants to put a quick ratio rack like the 89s
What all is involved just the rack, any front end parts?
Lines?
one thing I never liked about the car is that slow heavy steering
Hopefully theres no valving issue on the pump think its Z specific.
More traffic here thought Id try you guys first.

As stated a Z51 rack is 2 turns lock to lock.
Z51 steering is heavy at slow speed but we don't own C4's to go slow. Wide tires & 7+ degrees of caster = a heavy wheel but IMHO its worth the trade off. When rolling just a flick of the wheel = instant lane change.
When parking I drive it like an old standard steer car, let it roll a bit as the wheel is clocked.

Agree its all about fun and feel
The poo poo not refined/numbers matching crap is for the birds lol
Hoses should work no? Same mounting spot id guess as theres no Z specific rack-

How to tell the difference between a pre and post-'88 quick-steer rack? I've got several, but I don't know for what years they're designed.

With the outer tie rods removed measure the rack end to end of the inner tie rod. An 88+ should be a number something near 50" and the earlier something near 48". Also if you've got the 2 letter codes off of the end cap at the gear post them. Some can be easily identified others not so easy. If their on the ground it's very easy to tell what you've got. Just turn them lock to lock and count the revolutions. There's 2 turn, something near or just greater than 2 1/4 and then something that's 2 1/2+.
