Door will not open from the outside
Door will not open from outside......did a search could not find any info on how to fix....took of door panel and the rod attach to handle is still on..there is not a obvious broken part.
any ideas or suggest will be appreciated

There's plastic clips that connect the rod to the handle. It could be your rod popped out of the clip or your clip is broken. If its broke then go to carquest or napa and they should have the part on hand.

been there done this...
the plastic clips are FRAGILE and they are difficult to see unless you disassemble the door panel. Take the inner panels off and the guards and watch the linkage as it operates. You will see a section that's not moving the next piece that it WAS coupled to. NOT all rods are attached in an obvious way !
This is a fairly complex assembly that must be exactly right in order to work. I had to rebuild my door lock cylinder in the handle, and replace a rod that was damaged. LOTS of trial & error to get it right...the one thing that absolutely must be noticed is the condition of those plastic clips. Those are common and available at almost ANY auto parts store.
