Default what spark plug to use lt1 94

hey everyone just wondering what plug I should use for my 94 lt1?
is the rapid fire plug a good replacement for the stock ac delco plug
I just bought my car a while ago and just finished putting in a new msd opti spark as the factory one went bad when the water pump leaked. so that stuff is all new and out of the way. but I would like to replace the plugs and wires cause I don't know when they were last changed.

Hi, Copper plugs for performance, platinum or iridium for less maintenance. You will lose power significantly at higher RPMs with platinum or iridium plugs.

Aluminum and steel don't get together well.

I just bought AC Delco 41-906 platinum plugs and Delphi 7mm wires for my Admiral off of RockAuto.

I have NGK copper plugs with Taylor Spiro wires on the Rose and have zero complaints.

I went with the Delcos and Delphi wires because they were on sale at the Rock. I think I paid about $45 total for the plugs and wires.

I've pretty good luck with the Rapidfires and NGK's. The important thing to remember is proper gap and correct temperature rating. Don't fall for all the multi electrode things like v-power or +2 or especially +4 gimmicks.

last year I purchased for my 94 6SP from RockAuto a set of AC Delco OEM spark plug wires + a set of Autolite double platinum spark plugs "which came with a $10.00 rebate" for a grand total of - $35.00
And to make the wire replacement job easier I also removed and replaced my water pump" which was leaking water a fact I didn't know until the pump was removed for inspection" you might also want to get new spark plug wire separators.

I have the Taylors too but they don't fit in the stock wire looms so you'll have to rig something up. I used nylon wire ties to tie them off to various places. Not pro but my '94 is a DD not a show car. The fatter wires are a bitch to route to the opti on the left side.

I used a Dremel to clearance my stock wire looms for the larger 8mm wires.

I replaced some of my broken looms with the oem style replacement kit from mid America. The new ones seem to be a little deeper and my 8 mm Taylors fit better. Just a thought, not too expensive.

It is not so much that the stock looms don't fit but the channels behind the Optispark.

I have used a number of 8 mm wires but have gone back to GM wires in the 7 mm size on all my LT1s.
