Oil Coming Out of EGR Pipes

Oil Coming Out of EGR Pipes
I've been looking into an oil leak on a 1996 LT1 Corvette and found that it is coming out of the EGR hard pipe that goes I to the exhaust manifold on the right side. Any ideas about what this could mean? There shouldn't be any oil there at all, right?
Thanks,
Ron

Are you sure it's oil?
[This is a wild guess on my part]: You might have a ruptured fuel pressure regulator diaphragm that is feeding fuel into the intake manifold where it is then ending up in the EGR passages and flushing out the carbon.

Interesting theory; I can see what you mean. But the car runs pretty good. If it was a bad fuel regulator, I would expect all sorts of sputtering and carrying on. Anyway, the leak has made an oily mess on the whole side of the engine, so I can confirm that it is oil.
