Default clutch question

Is there a difference with the clutch components for a '92 than for a '94-96 that will not allow use of a 94-96 clutch kit in a '92?

Someone should correct me if I'm mistaken, but wasn't '94 when they started using the "blue tags". If so the input shafts are different sizes and thus the release bearings will not work.

In 1994 they reduced the OD of the input shaft collar on the ZF6 transmission.

The TOB's I have seen the past couple of years are usually the same just with a nylon sleeve pressed in the TOB included in the 94-96 clutch kits.

You knock the sleeve out of the TOB and use a 94-96 clutch kit on a 89-93 car but unless you have the correct size sleeve laying aorund your not going to be able to use a 89-92 clutch kit on a 94-96 Corvette.

Ok, that clears it up, the reason I was curious was that I saw an ad on local CL for a 94-96 clutch kit and was wondering if I ever need to replace the clutch in my '92 why a 94-96 would not work. Thanks for enlightening a fairly new(old) corvette owner.
