Are you needing it to see how it measures on a specific flow bench? Cause people have (obviously) flowed them before.

Data on Vader's website...for one.

pretty much Gregg. I have never seen hard info just a # taken from??
So I just want to quanify and update if these #s floating around the web are in fact true..I suspect some not.

for me its to measure percentage of gain no matter what the #

I had a local guy make a fixture to flow these. I have to see it in person kind of question it Ill know more tomorrow hopefully. This one extends as if to mimic how it would flow bolted to a head rather than just a sheer number by itslef.

So far..Ill say this. Most ported TPIs will not flow what one would hope, even mine.
Almost not worth the effort but we will see.

I have a stock one LD...might consider a stock runner well see
For now seem to be getting SRs in so working on that...one by one. Its coming alll out of my pocket for infos sake so it adds up quick.

Youd be surprised at how a chopped down SR runner reduces entire flow.
When I have everything in hand Ill post a thread on it.

If you don't mind the drive, talk with Dyno Don. I know he has a virgin Edelbrock base, but I don't think he has any virgin runners, lots of stock runners though. It would be cool to compare your adapter to his.

Ive spoken with him and his fixture is super nice someone spent a LOT of time and money on that one. I would like to have one of my own though and just cant drive an hr to use his with my sched

Arent many of these fixtures floating around these days so make one
Most shops I drag a TPI intake to ask me to leave.

I would be curious to see what his Eddy flows on his fixture vs mine just for comparisons sake/accuracy. I suspect mine will go less with the extra length added to the fixture but again its just to show percentage gain from work done.

Do you need one that is extrude honed Ron? I *think* it's a 1205 TPIS base........I'd have to dig it out.

Ron:

Jerrywho did a combination of different manifolds @ Westec a few years ago. (with his fixture)
I think you would be spending money to find out what he learned.

The only way to get the TPI manifold to flow maximum air is to weld it and enlarge the openings on the cylinder head side.

You can look up his results under his name on TGO.

Here is the fixture:

Don sent him a message. Could see how the piece he has on the round end could help pick things up.

Curious to know if he had them done at 28 or 10 and using a correction factor.

There are some #s out there that imo are real far fetched
meaning bases/runners

no way in hell a stock sr base and runner will go 240...or the base by itself. And some ported..they are just too small and too long.

We shall see!

We have used several Superflow benches and tested @28

The #'s we have got are relative to the power output and RPM's we have achieved.
