I have a 93 coupe.

I had a shop repair the bright light switch

In the column and now my interior lights stay on for a long

Time.

The interior adjustment for the lights works

And is not in the on position.

How long is a "long" time. My 85, keeps the interiors on for about 30sec-a minute. I find it convenient.

On my car the door pin switches were worn out and kept pushing in too far. I pulled out the plunger and cut about 1/4" of rubber hose off and used it as a spacer under the plunger. You can't even see it and now they work great
