Default Wheel Size

Really liking the looks of the new Cray Hawk 2 peice wheels. They don't come in the 17" size so I am wondering if I will have any issues moving up to the 18" with a 265/35/18 tire or maybe a 275/40/18. I have a stock 90 C4 with 275/40/17's currently. Any thoughts?

Thanks

The 265 tire is nearly an exact diameter match, the 275 will require a speedometer adjustment I'd think. The Hawk wheel in the 9" is a fit but the 10.5 you loose nearly an inch of clearance to the suspension at the wheel(not including the side-wall bulge). A go? I don't know!

Both the 265 and the 275 are looking to be mounted on a 9.5" wheel but both have limits from 9.0 to 11.0 depending on brand.

Tires and wheels are pretty much a personal choice and certainly don't rely on my comments. Do the math yourself!!!
