Intermittent wipers and windshield washers don't work on my 1991 Vette. I replaced the washer control module with one from an aftermarket Vette parts place. That didn't fix it. Any suggestions??

Apparently the top of the wiper motor is removeable and contaians a circuit b oard that can fail and cause problems with the intermittent wiper performance.
My car is a 95, and the wipers would not shut off properly. The shop I deal with diagnosed the circiut board as the problem. They were not able to order a new GM part as it has been discontinued, but they send the circuit board out to an electronic shop and they were able to repair it. The wipers have been working like new ever since.

You may want to check the control stalk on the steering column too.

I never drive mine in the rain, so I don't even know if mine work or not!

the wiper control cover is easy to access and has only 3 screws holding it on..ONE being a diffrent lenght. Pay attention to where the "arms/cam" are beneath the cover.

The washer control module that I replaced on the wiper motor(with three screws) has a circuit board in it. I suppose I could have received a faulty unit. I may see if I can return for a replacement. Thanks for your input.
