Economical brake pads for 91
I know there are many posts on pads, but I am looking for an economical brake pad for the rear brake. I am selling the car in a couple of weeks so I don't want to spend alot of money, but I also dont want to put on total crap for the next owner. Any suggestions? Rockauto has the wagner quickstop for $19, and the thermoquiet for $27.
thanks! howdo

I can tell you 3 things.
1. GM does not use cheap pad material. Their lawyers see to that.
2. After 22 years, my pads finally wore out on the rear,
3. The rear brakes hardly worked until I stepped up to C5 front brakes.
Now I have a set of premium pads in the rear, and the rear rotors are starting to wear down.
It's your car, but with corvettes, don't we push the limit occasionally?
I vote you go with the better pad.
After all, we are only talking $8 plus tax.
