'85 Vette oil issues. PLEASE HELP!!!
My father owns a 1985 chevy corvette w/ about 120k miles on it. It sat without running for over a year during which time water leaked into the gas tank. The shop which brought the vette back to life replaced the fuel injectors. When the oil was changed after getting it running again, the oil came out of the pan looking milky. Now, the oil pressure drops almost to zero at idle. The exhaust has smoke but not sure if it is blueish or white. We're thinking it could be a head gasket and maybe oil pump. PLEASE HELP!!!

The oil is telling you that there is a BAD issue!! Surprised that the shop let it go to you with the oil in that condition. More than likely a blown head gasket. Time to pull the heads and see what is up.
First, try pulling #7 and #8 spark plugs and see what they look like. There is a small hole within 1/8" from the cylinder walls on #8 that will often give way on the gasket.
It might pay to pull the pan just to clean it out and at the same time replace the oil pump.
