Default 1989 Vette - Fuel pressure Regulator

Can someone tell me the Driver tip size for the Fuel Pressure Regulator screws??? I have try all of the tips I have in the my set.. Thanks

It's a T-10 SECURITY bit.

It needs to have the hole in the tip or you won't be able to get it into the screws.

When I bought my TPIS fuel pressure regulator, it came with one of the tips included ....WW

yep...dimple torx bits, security torx...they have a couple names. Bottom line, the bit must have a hole in the center or it ain;t gonna fit those screws.

With the reg in a bench vice the center pin can be removed with a dremel grinder tip or a small punch.

I dremeled mine years ago. Saves a couple of bucks from having to buy a set of specialty torx bits that you'll never use again.
