Can't remember what goes where on C4
To make a long story short, I replaced the head gasket on my 1989 Vette and now I am in the process of putting it all back together again. My problem is that I dont remember where alot of the vacuum lines, hoses, and other parts go back on at. I'm stuck. I took some pics in hopes that you guys can help me figure out how to finish putting my car back together again. Thanks in advance.

Sorry to tell you but from the looks of that you were taken!!
It is NOT a 98!!!
Looks like TPI injection to me....
I would get a manual I find myself in similar situations fairly often!

Lol you are correct, it is an L98 but I think he was referring to my screwup of stating it was a 98(meaning year 1998). It was my mistake in my original posting. I have now corrected it so it reads 1989. thanks for the diagram!

I'm not sure what I should be putting on or doing next. When I tore it down, I ended up breaking a few hard plastic vacuum lines. I'm going to take pics of those to post because I have no clue how minor or major each one is. Will post those tomorrow.

Put intake together , install front accessory drive , then worry about vac lines, etc

That first pic you snapped and circled in red, that metal tube has a coolant hose which slips over it. That hose goes to a "nipple" on the heater control valve: a pair of black tubes on the passenger side with a cylindrical actuator attached to them.
L-shaped tube in the center of your last pic is the egr tube, which goes on the back of the manifold right in front of that coolant tube previously mentioned. J-shaped coolant hose at the bottom of the last pic goes to a coolant tube on your throttle body which then attaches to the manfiold on the coolant stained connection.
Agent86 gave you the best tool to go by for the vacuum system. It's also available to you on the inside of your hood, just in case you need the cheat sheet often.

first picture connects to your exhaust manifold on same side. part of the EGR system. oh nope i'm wrong part of the heater line. I believe there is an attachment right to the left of it that goes to the exhaust manifold...

TIP:
before going much further...connect the fuel lines with the NEW oring on each line nipple, and connect the battery and turn the key to ON...then off then ON again and go sniff and search for ANY possible fuel leaks at injectors and the fuel rails. NOW is the time to do this BEFORE you do the top end assembly where it will be a friggin disaster to have to tear it ALL down again over 1 o-ring on a rail cross over pipe or an inj ring....
If it holds pressure, proceed with the heater line from the EGR, lay out a new vac line from EGR to EGR solenoid, and position the injector harness. You MIGHT have to loosen the rail to get the runners under...some yrs were easy...others not so much. Get runners installed but NOT tight, then secure the rail and pressure test (IF it had to be loosened) and go to plenum. Lay 2 vac lines from air switching valves to a Y fitting (to merge them into one line that goes to plenum vac fittings r-rear. There use a T fitting to tie in the cabin vac supply line. Connect the fuel reg vac line to a vac fitting by iteself. DO NOT T the regulator line...in case it ever leaks fuel....
Check harness placement, tighten all runner, plenum rail bolts one last time, (double check) and assy throttle body.
I always smear some anti-seize on runner/throttle body gaskets so they do not tear and stick next time. Use the chart thats been provided to check the lines and you're good for a start-up...it should crank easily and try to fire right away since the rails have already been primed. No need for starting spray that might blow your new head gasket !
oh yeah...before cranking be sure to double check the rotor position when stabbing the distributer....too easy to miss by 1 tooth as it drops in...
good luck and have fun !
