Default Dewitts rad install....

Finally had time to install the Dewitts rad last night. It was a very simple, and straight forward install that took me about 2 hours in total from start to finish to re-re. If I was to do it again I think I could knock almost an hour off that, and I am not super handy.

Took a few pictures, and man these C4's certainly are a vacumm cleaner sucking up all that road debris.

Some would probably say that it wasnt cooling because of the leaves, but in fact the 421 needed a better rad especially if I plan to road race her which i do.....

If it performs anything like it looks, then I will be a happy camper.

No cutting at all guys. Simple drop in!

Next job. ZF6 and 3.45's. Scary to think how it will go with that combo as it hauls the mail with the 3.07's.

Take care guys!

Your going to love the Dewitte's radiator..Motor cools down way faster and heats up way slower.. The Dewitt's is the only Direct Fit radiator, non of the others just drop in... Get a Dewitt's high speed fan and your temps will drop like a stone when it comes on.....WW

How much more does it weigh than stock?
Will it slow down your E.T.?
Do you think it will add more weight to the front of your car?
Will the additional water weight slow you down, 1-gallon=@ 7 lbs?
What kind of water will you use, US import or Canadian?

Just thinking out loud and bustin your nads!

The Dewitt radiator is one of the best aftermarket parts we can buy for a C4. I got it on both Vettes and they surely works. Its a shame that such of great looking part is hidden under the shroud.

Leaves are not as bad as all the small gravel in there. Lay it down with the front facing down and hit it with a hammer ..you will be surprised at what will come out.
