Default Has anyone successfully datalooged w/ tunerpro rt for 91 auto?

Having problems with a few things, I think
1. when I plug laptop into aldl, it says cable not found or functioning. But when its not plugged into the aldl it says it is found and functioning.
2. I am using the 1227730 8D adx file, which should work.
3. it wants to see COM3 instead of COM5 when plugged into the aldl.
4. when it says "connected" It cycles between DA:connected and DA:error?
Any help out there, for a 91 auto..1227727 prom AXCR?
Thanks

yes I had to change the comport and had issues with it. I think the trick was to turn the laptop and program on first.. IIRC GL

Maybe take a look here? http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c4-s...-to-do-it.html

I have been too lazy to get to attempting to log my 91. I'd like to know if this helps you get it going. I have a new battery for my laptop and need to get back to work on it.

Did you use the 1227730 adx file?

There is a drop down where you can change it while its running. If you are communicating with the com port you are on now it is the correct port.

are you using an auto prom?

on tunerpro at the top there is some function you have to set to get it to find it.

you can email me for the files you need for tuner pro.

the other is for translating the cable.

the instructions I got, on a cd, with the cable tells me to use the "plug-in" choice, instead of the auto prom. I have, however tried the auto prom selection and it didn't work.
I figured out how to get rid of the errors, but still can't get com port thing to work. Under com5, if the aldl plug (cable side), is not connected to the car, the tunerpro says the cable is found and functional. But, as soon as I plug it to the car it says it is not found or functional.
When I look at the 'data list' view the numbers are all over the place switching constantly.

Ya, I've tried it in all different steps, including the one you mentioned. The cable always loses connectivity once I plug it to the all port on the car. I can't find an ascend file for 1227727 for 91 vette auto. Although others claim the 1227730all will work.

I wonder.. is cable bad? Once you extablish a connection it should remain constant. At this point IDK what to tell you it looks like the config is right.
