FYI, about 1 year ago I went to summit and their balancers are Pro-Race (at least the entry level one was) same box and everything.

I have a fluidampr on my 90

I did a search on fluid damper broken crankshaft and found many forums discussing this.
I finally found this article from scat and decided against one. See item 2.
