I actually found the tires to be around same price for 18 or 19". Its gonna be like a touch over $300 a tire.
My only options for 19" are:
315/25-19 which is like 25.5' tall and 12.5" wide but i dont like the 25 profile,to narrow.
or
325/30-19 which is 26.7" tall so its about .75" taller then a stock tire (26" is stock height) .And the tire is 12.6" wide on an 11" wheel according to all the c6 z06 guys that use the tire.( nitto invo).Thats width is perfect because 12.6" is the same width my tires are now(315/35-17) so i know i have the room but im worried about it being .75" taller.
Am i worrying to much about 3/4" u think?

excellent on the tires, but the 3/4 is the total diameter difference between the tires, when you have them on your car the total amount the car will be raised will only be 1/2 of that, probably not even noticeable unless you have your car lowered quite a bit. It will probably just fill the wheel well out....nicely.

Complete Custom Wheel have these (505a):

And these (SP16a):

for around $675/ea in 18" x 11", any backspace. The 19" versions are $725/ea.

You can get them anodized or powder coated for additional money.

They'll even ship to you with tires if you want...they'll price match TireRack, Discount Tire and Tread Depot for any tire.

They make good stuff...I have a set of their CCW Classics I use for the race rubber that ran me $1800/set including shipping.

Yes your rite.I am probably just thinking to much about it.They wld fill the wheel well 3/8" more and the car will sit 3/8" higher.I plan on doing coilovers to set the height of car anyway so no big deal.
Thanks!

I have looked at ccw wheels but there is just something about the look of the c6 z06 wheels on the c4 i like so much plus the cost of all 4 c6 z06 in 19x11 is only about $900 comared to the much higher price of ccw wheels.im not to crazy about the deep lips of thse wheels either,i used to love that look but my taste has changed.
Thanks for the help though, those are def some sick wheels!

Think it wld look good on all 4 corners with my car being red and wheels black?

The size of the lip depends on your backspace...

My Classics have hardly any lip at all. Nearly everything is on the backside.

BTW, those CCW's are about 1/2 the weight of the CAST C6Z06 wheels, too.

Un-sprung weight is your enemy...

Rippie sells the same basic Wilwood system (6-piston front, 4-piston rears) as this OEM setup for $4,500.

BUT, their kit uses 13" rotors that are only 1.38" thick, so not quite up to the same grade as the Z06 system. Sure, you can use the 17" sawblades but who cares when all the really great race rubber comes in 18" & 19" sizes.

Having better capabilities from the OEM Z06 calipers WITH an operational e-brake is a bargain for $1,500 LESS money.

Yea i spent about $2800 for everything brand new.
Thats new calipers with pins, new rotors and pads, and the rear conversion kit with ebrake from street shop, and front conversion bracket.
I still want to get the bias spring from drm and some good high temp race brake fluid so thats about another 50-100.
You can save some money buying used stuff like calipers if you want to do it cheaper.
I spent $1300 for calipers and pins new.You can find a used set for prob like $800-$1000.

Van Steel does the front adapter brackets...but they are not on their web site yet.

The rears are built into the conversion kit for the e-brake from Street Shop...but I don't see it specifically spelled out on their site either.

You can see it really well in this picture he posted:

The mounting holes for the rear calipers are on the right...

I really want to go with the c6 z06 wheel, like the look on the c4's!
At first i said no way to a 19' wheel which they make in a 19x11 but after seeing pics i think it looks ok.Im back and forth.
To much to add 1/2" to a 18" wheel, dont think i want to get involved in that.

I bought the 4 calipers with pins new from kore3.Paid $1300 shipped for all new gm stuff.
http://www.kore3.com/products.php?cat=25&pg=2

Front Adapter brackets are from Paul at van steel.I think they are going for like $180 shipped.
http://www.vansteel.com/

Rotors and pads were from Brakemotive that sell on this site.He has threads going. They were $375 shipped for 4 rotors and pads.

Rear adapter kit with ebrake is from Tray at street shop,it was like $900 shipped with ebrake cables and all.I think 88 and up c4's wld be cheaper though because i needed an extra piece for the kit later vettes wld not need.

Did you need the front & rear pad abutment brackets as well?

Just trying to get a complete list of parts needed for this conversion...

Also, how many pins needed?

No abutment brackets on the z06 calipers. There were 28 pins.
