Default 93 Vette COOL Light Comes On

I noticed the COOL F light on the dash. I did smell some antifreeze but I am not sure what this warning light is. I have not yet checked the Radiator to see if I have antifreeze in . Any ideas ? Thanks

You're kidding, right? Check the recovery bottle, if empty, check the radiator. If low, fill to proper level, then keep an eye on it for a few miles. If it gets low again, some diagnosis is in order.

The "cool" (with a degree symbol F behind in where the mileage normally displays) sign comes on when the "gauges" button is pushed. It indicates what temp range the collant is in. Press the "guages" a couple of times until the mileage displays.

Its always there when engine temp is selected, you probably just noticed it after all this time.
