Default courtesy lights will not go off

thanks for any help in advance!
i have a 92 cortesy lights will not turn off unless i pull the fuse,i thought maybe one of the door switches could be bad .they have good spring to them

I'd start with the switches, check them, make sure they have good ground, check the hatch switch too. Oh, wait, first, are you sure you didn't bump the switch to turn them on all the time? On a 92 I think it is having the dimmer slide all the way up.

You more than likely have a pillar post switch on 1 of the doors bad ...xzo

I got water in the door jamb push buttons, for the lights, and the lights stayed on until they dryed out.

When mine did that it was the passenger key lock was not at the 12 o'clock position. The courtesy lights come on when you turn the key.
