Default Help 87 AC stopped blowing

Have the electronic AC and fan stopped blowing - compressor is working/engaging and getting cold. I read that the BCM is the culprit but where is the BCM located - under the dash or under the hood?

Thanks.

THere is a blower motor control module that provides varible power to the blower motor and also provides the ground point for the compressor's clutch. There was thread on this topic not too long ago - might try a search. The blower module is located in near the evaporator, which can accessed from the engine's side of the firewall. You can find NOS ($75+) replacements or good used ones can sometimes be found for as low as $25 if your lucky.

You might want to check the blower motor to make sure that isn't the problem.
