HVAC Issue
I have a 1992 coupe with the factory climate control. Last week while on a drive we stopped for some refreshments and upon turning off the Vette the climate control went from AC to defrost as soon as I turned off the ignition. Pulled the key, opened the door and it kept on running.... Only turns off by disconnecting the battery.
Any thoughts or suggestions?

Just the fan running look on the pass side under the hood relay on the housing. You can look on youtube to see how to self test the climate control.

A C68 car with a FAN ON/KEY IN POCKET solution is 99.9% of the time a fix requiring a new BCM. There are numerous threads regarding the problem, a C68 has NO RELAY under the hood only the BCM.
BCM - Blower Control Module
BCM is top of evaporator/blower housing with 4 and 2 place electrical connectors attached. You should NOT be able to miss it!
*** I maybe should have added that there is an ATO5 fuse in a holder in the vicinity BUT it's generally always found to be OK and NOT the cause of the problem. The fuse is closer to the blower motor best I recall.
