93 auto code 22 and won't shift
I just changed out my TB and the cable wasn't allowing the butterflies to close all the way. I was looking at the ASR to see if the cable could be adjusted and I pushed on the button on the cable and it adjusted it and the TB closed. When I test drove it I noticed some slipping in the tranny.
Then I actually looked up the procedure for adjusting the TB, TV, ACC cables. But, I did it wrong at first and didn't lock the TV cable before letting up on the torque wrench. The slipping got worse. I re-read the procedure and discovered my error and adjusted it again correctly this time. The tranny is still not shifting properly. So, I checked for codes and found 21,22 in section 4 and 71, 72 in section 9. I was able to clear all of them but the Code 22 keeps coming back. Also getting a 64 code but I don't think that is related since it is O2 sensor. Also replaced the opti.

Right, I put my old TPS (I replaced most of the sensors when I put in the new engine) on to see if it would clear the code but didn't. And, yes, that's the procedure I was speaking of. On my year model the TB, TV and ACC cables all get adjusted in the same procedure. The tranny fluid is spot on.

Anyone else got any suggestions, PeteK maybe?
On the throttle body, I actually used 115-208 which seems to be for the fbody, Holley also made a 1993 specific one 115-204. I wonder if that could be causing the TPS problem?
On the transmission, is there anything on the 700r4 '93 that can affect shifting besides the TV cable? It also has one of PeteK's 2500 stall converters.
