RE: Fuel injection
I have a 86 with some mods, bigger cam, headers nothing real major. I was looking into an ajustable fuel regulator. Does this make any horse power improment?

If you are just cruising lightly or driving to a car show once in a while an adjustable fuel pressure regulator is not likely needed.

better injectors would be the way to go along with tuning the car. if you swapped cams you should have the car tuned and the oem 86 injectors are just not a good choice compared to the newer stuff FIC is selling

An adjustable fuel pressure regulator is a powerful tuning tool if you are racing or have made major engine mods for more torque and horsepower.

there is no real benefit to an adjustable regulator with stock injectors...
get some fuel system upgrades, then you can use the FPR to fine tune. Paying for a "tune" will tell you where the FP should be...as long as you have good inj and leave it alone after that,.
