New injectors won't increase power, they'll just give you back, what you lost, running the raggedy-old original Multecs! The sticky thread for the FIC injector's have many, many owners highly stoked at what a set did for their Corvette. We're one of them! The 87' with 138K was running like a tired old dog, even with a top-end rebuild a couple of years back. Now that car can actually get up and go! It will break em' loose and get sideways doing it. Wouldn't dream of it, even doing that before.

Replace the Multecs with Bosch III's. Talk to Jon at Fuel Injection Connection. He'll fix you up right. And, get the gasket set from him, too. His O-rings are ethanol-proof.

As I said to another poster, while you have the plenum off, replace all the O-rings, the diaphragm in the F.P. regulator, and the E.G.R. valve. The Manifold Air Temperature sensor, too, if you want. I replaced the fuel filter and fuel pump, too. Nothin' but pure, clean 93 octane flowin' through my new injectors.

Put the car up on jackstands and take the wheels off so you can stand in the wheelwell. Much easier on your back. Trust me on that one.

The #'s are there. Spray some cleaner on the tab. A paint stir stick with a rag on the end will clean things up.

A small wire brush or sandpaper too + paint the slot in the balancer white etc.

You might want to check for tdc and make sure the balancer is not slipped on the hub so that thiming will be wrong even if the numbers line up. the PO might have set the timing with it this way even you did not.
