same combo here and same weight. I thought "Nice" also.
aluminum heads and delete A/C will get it well under 3K.
I just lost 75 lbs myself also.

94' Corvette trike
I am using a 1994' Corvette Dana44HD Rear end on my 355ci Trike project.
I will drop 1500-lbs. going to a trike.
My Trike weigh's approx. 1485-lbs total wet, that's with a full 12-gallon tank.
The rear suspension has full hard bushings, spherical bearings, 355 rear tires.
Front suspension has dual Coil over front suspension, with a 275 front tire.
Side benefit;
I expect it to get a min. of 5 mpg better (it may be more like 10mpg) than if it were lugging around another 1500lbs to put me in the 3000-lbs range. If I can keep my foot out of it, that aint gonna happen.
No disrespect to the C4 Corvette, I had one in the past, and they are great cars. I just wanted to do something a little different.
I thought i would post my ultimate weight loss. although it is not a Corvette anymore only utilizing some of it's parts.
