It wasn't bad at all. Of course I had the heads off so that helps out!. Used a open end 14mm wrench. Hardess ones to get on are the ones located at 9 and 3 o'clock. There are grounds on the bolt at 7 and the one at 3. This is all facing the back to the front.

Ed, its also a good idea to replace the front transmission seal anytime the motor is pulled. These have a tendence to leak if you don't .. Easy job , they just tap in,only takes a few minites...WW

I'll go pull that today. I have to get a solid support in under the tranny since its still on the floor jack. Wayne I'll also look in my FSM for that seal. I've heard about it and would like to get that done as well.

Here's the video from last night. WARNING its 21 min's long

That will be going in this coming weekend. First I'm going to replace the fusible links and install new Russel heat loom on all my wiring harnesses. Then I'm gonna do cleanup and some painting prior to its installation. And of course, I'll post pics along the way..

Thats a good idea, now is a good time to do these jobs before the motor gets put in. No need to rush.....WW

Today I degreased everything.
I used a degreaser naturally, a paint brush and a tooth brush. I worked it throughout the engine compartment and front suspension. I used a spray bottle of water to rinse. Everything drain to the floor where i had played some cat liter to absord it up.
This blower gun adapter for my compressor was the best tool I used all day.

There is some paint where in the engine compartment as well so I've started sanding everything down to get it ready for some paint.

Everything got cleaned

QA-1 Adjustable shocks have been installed on the front.

The adjustment **** is pretty easy to get to as well. I believe I counted 10 different positions for settings

Thanks guys. A lot better than it used to for sure.

Straighten up the loom tonight... should be oil and grease free shortly.
Asked Nuts4C4 to help me out on sunday... looking at dropping that bad boy in there.
