Default Won't crank when hot.

Won't start after brief stop like rest area, or milk and bread. After a drive of over 30 minutes, the '89 Vette doesn't always start. The selinoid will click, but it doesn't turn over at all. I replaced the starter, and it's a little better, but the "no start" issue still happens at times. It always starts up when cool. I believe the cat-converter gets the starter hot as it sits for a few minutes. Anyone else have this problem? I made a heat shield from aluminum sheet metal, and it's better, but not a fix. Would wrapping the 2 small cats in header wrap cause any problems?

Default

I added a separate relay to overcome the no crank situation. Cost about $25 from Jegs or Summit. Haven't had a problem starting when hot since.
