Default 1984 Corvette Horn Repair

I don't have anything but the actual horns on the front frame rail and a little piece of wire left hanging from them, no horn cap contact, horn wiring through steering column. I don't use the horn anyway and really just need to pass North Carolina inspection. Any tips or suggestions on a simple/low cost fix so that I can have a horn again?

Go to an auto parts store and buy a 'horn button'. They are usually white, black or cream color that either clamp on or are bolted to the steering column. I would just use a large hose clamp. Look at the 'Help' parts rack. Or ask for one.

Run one wire to the battery and the other to one of the horns, or both if you want both of them to blow. You'll need to add enough wire to make the connections.

Just mount it anywhere you want.

That should get you through inspection.

If you can't find one at an auto parts store, go to a tractor supply house.. They'll have them.
