Default Putting later C4 seats in 1984?

Anyone try this before. I have an 84 w/ standard seats and would like to swap in a set of newer (90-up) seats. Most likely, I will just use existing seat tracks. Anyone have experience with this and have any problem with install?

I'm about to do the same thing in my 86. I have read that the tracks are the same and new seats can bolt right onto them, so lets hope that info is correct.

I'm not sure about later C4 seats in your early model, however I did put in a set of C5 seats in my 90 and I only had to drill a couple of holes in my original tracks. I'm sure it would not be a tough job at all.
