Repair problems as you find them. Many times one problem will cause other problems but correcting the first problem can/may solve the other(s).
I don't have a listing of which problems cause which other problems, but, using a common sense approach, it only makes sense to correct problems as you find them and not skip over a known problem looking for something else.
I prefer the systematic approach to problem solving. Once the pressure drop is corrected that issue can be put behind you and you can then see what problem(s) remain - if any.
If I had a pressure holding issue I wouldn't just skip over that and start looking at the possibility of having a spark issue. Fix 'em as you find 'em.
