Default LT1 vs LT4 MAF

Not a whole lot of info out there on the subject...

Is the MAF on the LT4 different from the unit on the LT1? What is/are their part number(s)?

Mine went out yesterday (got a code 100), and I fortunately have a guy who can get me a new Delco unit. I looked online, and I couldn't find a new OEM unit for sale anywhere...Only found remanufactured and aftermarket units.

I don't know the GM part number but the replacements that are like OEM say 1994-1996 LT1/LT4 all use the same part. Logic would tell me you are safe with the LT1 MAF. Ask the "guy" what part number he has and search backwards.

I offer a challenge:

Who here can source a NEW OEM AC Delco MAF for LT motors? My mechanic sourced one for $279, but I am curious as to why I couldn't find a New AC Delco MAF anywhere online.

Give Eckler's a call. They show a ACDELCO MAF - 94-96, but only their part number 49225, not the ACDELCO part number.

Another case of "if I can't find it online it must not exist"?

I already have one ordered from my local GM parts guy, so I guess it doesn't really matter...
