Default need help with gauge cluster

i just purchased a 85 vette and im having trouble with my gauge cluster, only the turn signal will work, i took the cluster apart and it looks clean and the bulbs are fine. i looked at the wiring cluster under the dash and it is a mess. there is a aftermarket box, spliced wires and unconnected wires.
any suggestions would be appreciated
also looking for any wire diagrams that would also be wonderful

for some reason i cannot post attachments

if you are sure the bulbs are not burnt out or corrosion on the connections then you will have to trace that wiring back to fuse panel to the cluster fuse. if you don't have a FSM with a wiring diagram then buy a haynes manual it will help with the wiring. better yet start at the fuse panel and work your way toward the cluster since you have unconnected wiring. it will be grunt work but it sounds like it is necessary.

Heres a link page for repair of you dash. http://www.batee.com/corvette/dcrg/index.shtml

You have to link pics from a hosting site to your post in order to "attach" photos.

Worst case by a used dash harness off of EBAY. It should at least have all the proper connectors on it. What kind of aftermarket device is attached? Are you talking about the ECM Computer?

possibly it says mirage 6000 on the box, all the loose wires are coming off of that.

how far can you strip the dash out? right now i have the top of the dash off and the pad, how much further can i remove it to see the wires easier?
