HID Fog lights and Markers installed
I got busy and got it done within 2 hours.
They look brighter and cool
Have anyone installed the four-LED taillights? I'd like to see a picture please
Regular Fog Lights
Easy Installation
Easy---
HID Fog Light in place
HID on the left, regular on the right
There is plenty of space to hide all wires and ballast in the fog lights compartment
HID Fog Lights
Now, the front markers
Front LED Lights
Front Side Markers
Next, reverse lights
LED reverse lights
Rear side markers. NOW- hold it. The drivers side is easy but, remember the passenger has the charcoal can there.
My GF helped me with her small hands was able to reach the rear/passenger side red marker. That one was a PITA
The picture is the driver's side.

I drive to work in the dark every day .... and home in the dark as well and so the fog lights are always on. I've been interested in this upgrade. I'll be interested to hear how you feel about the HID fogs after a few months of driving. (wondering about any excessive heat build up).
You always do really nice installation posts

If you drive at night in the Vette, I'd recommend a HID H4 upgrade.

Hey PLRX, I'll take that PM about HID H4 also since my driving is similar to his. I was about to do the same for my fogs, and once again your before & after pics are spot on!

Is upgrading to the HID lights a good idea? Anyone get pulled over for having to bright of lights? I ask because I drive a bright yellow vette and all I need is to stand out even more. But if no one having trouble I like to learn more about them.

between 3k and 8k you shouldnt have a problem with police if you adjust them correctly. Just make sure you buy the whole projector housing and not the stock halogen housing.

Personally I find Silverstars to be the easiest and cheapest way to get good light. They make a giant difference and I drive 90 mi round trip at night through the swamps and have no issues with visability after the change. I see no reason to spend the money and time on a HID refit and usually blast my high beams at the morons who put them in wrong they are dangerous for on coming drivers let alone technically illegal on any car not equiped with them from the factory. I really wish the LEO would enforce it.

My 95 is my daily driver. I've never had anyone flash me with their brights or tell me I was blinding them. I've also followed people I knew to test the lights and get their opinion. I've never received a ticket or been pulled over for them. If you get the correct color temp(white) and adjust them correctly you wont have any problems.

Now that you've had the HID driving lights for a while ... any problem with heat build up in the confined space after having them on for an extended period?

what model bulb did you use for the reverse lights? They look like they're smd.. also, where'd you get them? Obviously ebay is the #1 contender, but any reputable place? I think they'd look sharp on my white '95

LED Halo Brake Lights/ HID Fog Lights
I've installed the Halo LEDs on my 89, getting ready to test them out. I also converted my third brake light to LED and installed a BackOff pulse system.
I'm getting ready to install CorvetteHID driving lights. Kit didn't come with directions and I can't find anything online. Does anyone have any advice?
