dude, don't leave us hanging like that turbo... what's the full details? are you doing an ls-x swap into your c4? automatic, manual? What adaptor for the ZF-6, or are you using t-56? etc...

Its a 6.0 iron block out of a 08 truck. I chose the iron block for later on down the road if things get serious. It also has lower CR to start. I am using the ls3 intake and has 823 heads. turbo is a 76. I do have the quick time bellhousing to use the ZF trans along with a fidanza and a LS7 clutch. I dont plan on moving the motor foward. Rite now I am jus figuring out where and how all this is going to fit and its going in this car.

Great looking car, I'd love to see some more pictures, especially of the hood.

If you want to shoot me some pics, that would be awesome. joshkinzey AT gmail DOT com.

Who makes that hood, and does it have any more clearance underneath than the stocker?

Stock hood that I made. There is more done to the front other than just the hood. The front tag pocket is gone and the front fog lamps were moved out. Here is a couple more pix

Well..it will hold till its slips. This is a budget build and its laying there new. Gotta use it for now. I have set a goal for 500 whp but will just have to see how things go and money.

Mounts the ZF to the LS. Its steel and rather heavy but the only one out there. I have it but yet to bolt it up. Plan on putting it on when i get back next week some time. I read some of what he was doing..and also had spent a few hrs figuring out how to do it. If you get a tremec 5 spd BH for the LS and have a 3/4 inch plate made to mount the trans to the BH...have the plate offset for the c4 clutch and a pilot bearing made it can be done. That was my plans untill the QT came out. Yes fiberglass will have to be cut to leave the trans a rear in stock location.

the motor does look to be sitting forward somewhat, did you end up going that route?

I know in your previous posts you mentioned that the QT bell housing puts the engine a few inches forward.... how far forward are we talking here? I would think that it "might" be a better idea to just place the engine a few inches forward rather than dealing with the glass work on the firewall and tranny tunnel?

It looks really cool inside the engine bay, keep us posted. Possibly some more picture?!
