89 Coupe door.
Bare door with wire harness and hinges = 56lb
Window regulator and motor = 6 lb
Door glass = 9lb
Door mirror and housing = 3lb

Thanks Hooked didn't realize how much they weighed! I found a set of Carbon Fibre Doors for sale cheap and they only weigh 12 lbs. bare

don't know abt PA, but in NY the answer is 'no', law here sez you must have 'saftey glass' (dot label /numbered) at 'immediate right and left of driver'...hint: little glass front side 'vent' wings on 80's chevy vans have dot labels...of course, if you have 'nothing at all', that passes in some places...
