I did the LT1 intake with the original Ally heads - the 128 heads and even though I had a mild cam this combo would not want to rev above 5500 - I beleive the 113 heads might have allowed me another 500rpm though.

I now run this intake setup on a 383/AFR195 setup and it pulls well

I'm curious too, I like EGR on highway cruise for MPG's. Killing off the EGR is the only thing holding me back from my lt1 intake pit.
