Melting Slicks
Let me get this straight...
You felt you needed to lay all that down because someone is giving you flak, over the Internet, about how long your car is taking?
Yeah, you're priorities are on the money.

You are probably being sarcastic. But then again coming for you, it really means nothing!
Thanks.

Good post, I too have lots of priorities. Always upkeep on the house, trying to keep the wife happy, making sure the kids are on the right path, saving for retirement, and with 5 cars I'm always the mechanic and decision maker on these. The vette, being the weekend driver, is always the last one to get attention. I actually write down a project date and inform everyone I WILL BE WORKING ON THE VETTE THAT WEEKEND !. Your on the right path, it will be bumpy, but it will be worth it. Good luck.

Rick,
Congrats on the recent changes in your life, and I hope everything continues to go your way. When you do start the family, do not be surprised if you hear that her career path has been placed on hold to do the stay at home mother thing. It is all about adjusting your lifestyle. It all works out in the end.
I would like to see a ZR1 in my future as well.

Once again, here is proof that good things happen to good people.
I know you and I like to give each other a little he!! once in a while, but I'm happy for you and Monika. I hope much, much more comes your way.

Hmmm... That is an interesting approach. It wouldn't work for me, as i married into a partnership. I guess that is why I am still married after nearly 20 years, and she brought four beautiful babies into the world for us.

Maybe you missed the point. Since she married me her decision making process is clearly suspect. Mine, however, is completely in tact as I picked her.

I just got nicked by the other half. Today I told her I needed to budget in more money for new suits. She stated "that's easy, why dont you just go and buy another corvette!!?" That's her way of saying I spend too much money on my vette.
Those words really hurt man........
