Way to go Jon! That should help a lot of folks.
Don't forget to check them hot and cold too!

BTW, injectors are working fine on the convertible! I am looking forward to the # 42s on the turbos, when I get them in finally!
Thanks
Johnny

Here's a question Jon,

When I first learned how to ohm my injectors (87) stock, I was told they should ohm around 16 +/- .5, well, they did, so I past that information on to others. Later one of the forum members asked me where I came up with the 16, I couldn't remember, so I looked in my 87 FSM. It says they should ohm at least 10. So, what yrs. should ohm where? As far as I'm concerned now, as long as their all within +/- .5, it seems to me that's the most important criteria. Is that right?

rick heres the rule of thumb I use. The 85-86-87-88 with some late 88's having lucas were early design Bosch pintle injectors. The coils in those i have seen from 10-14 . even most of the new Bosch injectors are in th 14 range. The multec should be around 16 but seem to work fine at 14+. But the whole set should be within +-.50. The new ls1 bosch injectors are 12.8 and most of your aftermarkets are in the 12-14 range. All I can tell you is that when a Multec has a reading of below 10 they start thinking on their own.

Great video, Jon. You are the best.

Now how about showing us dummies how to get the wire hold-down clips off without bending or breaking them.

Default awesome, thanks John

Terrific, thanks, answered my questions with your various posts about LT1 injectors. I'll test at 2K range for around .017 value on all, any much below or above (beyond .0005 I guess it would be) is suspect but .012 or below definitely a problem unit from what I gather.

You guys PM the mods to sticky this...

Everyone makes their own injector thread / FPR thread, and they all get buried. Sticky this, and your threads won't get buried so fast with new ones...

You've got to be naughty first.

I think we should just let Jon make one big, fuel related sticky.

That's a lot of work for 'free'.

Somethin' needs to be done tho', there's 7 FPR and injector threads in the first 30 threads right now.

That is pretty nuts; I usually don't shout about the search function, but wow! Its there for a reason.

If Jon made a big sticky, he'd probably save himself some work. He's constantly posting the same info to people everyday.

I have nothing but good to say about Jon. He bends over backwards to help people And my injectors are working perfect after Jon cleaned and flowed them.
