Any advise on how to remove my old Emblem on my Gas cap cover.

I am having a hard time safely removing my emblem on my gas door. I am trying to avoid scratching the paint.

Use a piece of mono fishing line. Spray some WD40 or GooOff around it then work the mono line a wire saw to remove the emblem. You will have to work on the rest of the tape after it is removed.

If it's stuck to the paint with that adhesive foam, use a fishing line to cut the foam pulling it through underneath the emblem. First loosen the emblem then use the line pulling it upward while pulling it through the foam. this will keep it running against the emblem and not against the paint. Then use Goo Gone to get the rest of the excess foam.

Also, warming it up with a hair dryer could help loosen things up too.

When I removed mine, all I had to do was loosen the emblem and push it out from behind.
