Default OEM OPTI or not???

Is there any way I can tell visualy if my '94 has an OEM or aftermarket OPTI? I have 120K miles on the car and I have no Idea if the OPTI has been changed out.

You may be able to tell if it's an AC Delco opti......but if it is, there's no real way to tell if it's the original part .....

Uhh, if it is a dull orangy-beige, that is the stock part, I believe. If it is fire-engine RED, it is an MSD. (Just replaced my OEM with an MSD last month, these are the colors the parts were).

Two thumbs up for the MSD part.
Two thumbs down for the a-hole at GM that put the cap and rotor on such an unreachable area of the car.

Only way to see is to take it off and check. Someone could have replaced the cap and rotor with an MSD cap and rotor. By taking it off you can inspect the cap and rotor, opti and electical harness connection.
