Default Factory LTX Compression Height

Does anyone happen to know the factory LT1/LT4 piston compression height?

Deck height is .017 to .024 as I understand it. LT1 anyways.

Now I'm also looking for the deck height from crank centerline to block deck. Should be somewhere around 9". Some pistons that I ordered were "subsituted" for ones with a different compression height.

My OEM LT4 shortblock was .0271 compression height average for the pistons to deck distance (in the hole).

I believe the blueprint specification for a SBC is 9.025, but no one really measures that though...

One assemblies the rod/piston set, installs in block and take the measurement then for decking (if need be). In other words, off the shelf pistons and rods are standard orders...the block is what gets cut for each combination.

By the way, my OEM LT4 shortblock had one piston (not included in the above average) that was .054 in the hole! Why? Bent factory rod! It is a desk paperweight now...
