Default targa top adjustments

I have an 84 and need to adjust the front edge of the targa top about 1/2in or so to the right. can this be done? The ear that protects the weatherstrip on the roof overlaps the corner of the winshield frame on the drivers side and I have about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch gap from the weatherstrip saver and winshield frame on the passenger side. The rear is also out of wack by about 1/4in or so. Any hints or tips on adjustments? Thanks in advance.

are you sitting on perfectly level ground?

Sometimes my 94 is like that if I am just a little out of level...

The only adjustments that I have ever messed with are across the front of the windshield. You have to take all the plastic trim off that area to get to them. It seems like I remember that they only went up and down though....

Be careful not to get them to loose though or you will end up like me with a buch of water in your floorboard...

I think the car is level/ It is sitting on my garage floor slab. I had the roof painted and the frame rebonded. I hope I can get it adjusted left and right. Up and down seems to be right.
