Door lock actuators
Has anyone here replaced the door lock actuators I am just wondering if I will have to drill out the old pop rivits that hold the actuator brackets or if the units can be removed without this happening :chevy 93 coupe

You are gonna have to drill out the rivots. I just did my passenger side one today....and I used a 7/32 drill. I think I put 1/4-20 screws in there with nuts from the back to hold the new one in where the rivots were. Good luck getting the bottom nut in place while you put the screw in unless you have really small hands. Oh yeah....before you plug it in....you might want to clean the contactors first, Mine didnt work until I did that. Good luck.
