Default Did some tuning today...and made a new video.

I was doing some tuning on the Vette today and decided to lower the idle to about 700 RPM. I did have it up to 900 RPM....but I think I like it at 700 a little better...it just sounds to darn good..

I plan on getting it on the dyno next spring for some tuning. I think I have it pretty close doing it myself.

The only thing I might do before then is install a 58 mm TB.

The car is tuned now. Lowered the idle to 700 RPM....to hear the cam a little better. Was idling around 900 RPM.

Sounds like the LT4 hotcam or equivalent.

Yes, I see the model name of the cam, but I am wondering more specifically about the lift, duration and lobe separation specifications.

Sounds awesome Tim. Hows that new beast running. Id have to say you should be in the 400rwhp club with that set up. Ive noticed that on cooler days the raspy cam lope gets even louder and tammer on hot days. I hope to do a set like yours in the future. My sig has video of my cam at idle sounds just like yours. I just love it. Id really like to see some #s (Dyno or track) when you get them! Congrats.

Sweet, love the solid chopy idle. And a very clean car.
On a side note, what are your BLMs doing, are they pretty even or do you have split issues, as your cam is very similiar to mine.

I've got to ask... how much do you have in that motor? Cause I want it.

I think the split blms are a speed density issue. Seems to be very common among 92s and 93s. I have splits myself.

Cool, noticed that allot too. Just wanted to know if this camshaft inhis Vette had same issues as mine, as I would love to see how common this split BLM is, and what effects it has on driveability and WOT.
I am going to watch 96LT4c4 stuff in the future, when it goes on the dyno too, as I am thinking of going 1.7RR which would give me about the same kinda lift.

Us TPI guys never ever have to worry about split BLMs.

Yes BLMs are split. I cant seem to get that worked out of it. Its getting good mileage and doesn't run lean at WOT so its really not an issue for me right now since I don't drive it that much.

So far everyone that has rode in it has been very impressed. I am already getting used to it and cant remember what it ran like before. It just smokes the tires all the way threw second gear, hitting 7000 rpm is very easy. I couldn't imagine what it would be like with 4.10s and some drag radials....
