Hi,
I bought a D1SC head unit which was installed on a C4 so I just make sure the oil slinger is in the same position on C5 A&A bracket.
Please post up
Thanks in advance!!!

All I know is that the blue serial number plate must be in top when the unit is unstalled... or the oil slinger will not function properly..

It is not really true. There are 3 positions for oil slinger (A,B, and C). The one with the blue serial number on top is B. You can tilt your head unit to have the serial number about 45 degrees on L or R side and you can reclock to have the oil slinger on the A or C position.
So if your oil slinger in position A or C and your blue serial number is on top then head unit will be in trouble.

Now, if all C4 installation to have the blue serial number to be on top, then I'm fine as well because my C5 AA bracket also have the blue serial number on top.

Yes, but that's how they mark it. By putting the serial number tag in the correct position so you know how the slinger has been clocked. I have been told by Procharger that after the housing is clocked, it is hard/impossible to change it.

Thanks ... I understood you now My head unit got the serial number on the side of the head unit
C4 got oil slinger in C position and no, reclocking is very simple. ATI charges $130 to do it and I will do it myself next week.
