I have a buddy of mine who is a true Corvette Guru doing some work on mine, including the ASR problem. He needs the $$ and I don't really have time to devote to getting this done in a reasonable time frame.
Which auction site are your referring to?

As always, thanks for the help.
I found the diagram and info in my FSM, that's a good first step. However, the diagnostic tree demands the breakout box.
1. Can someone tell me what that does, just curious...it's an odd name.
2. Does anybody in the Seattle/Tacoma/Olympia/Coast area have one that I can borrow?

I know this is an old thread but did any of you fix the issue? I have a 95 showing code 65. The ASR light goes on and off. I have noticed that when the car is cold the light will stay off and you can driver the car all day long as long as you do not shut the off. After you shut the car off and then restart the Service ASR light and the ASR OFF comes on and will not go off till the car is cold again.
