Never dealt with them. Does look like a good product. The question is: How about service should something go wrong?

I see no mention of torque plates, or newer style 1 pcs seal block.
Savings is lost if a retro-fit roller cam, and new oil oil pan, dipstick etc must be purchased.

if this was a later style 1 piece rear main roller block i'd be all over it. I'd just bolt on the top end from my engine since its pretty much all new anyway.

I emailed the seller - he says he can set up the engines any way we want, including roller or flat-tappet, one-piece or two-piece rear main seals. Same price regardless.

What is impressive is his 100% positive feedback selling engines and engine parts....and over 1500 transactions. You would think at least one Ahole would give him a netative.

Yeah i thought that too. Impressive track record. If there were problems, he took good care of his customers to keep them happy enough to post positive.

Maybe I'll need to do some xmas shopping for myself this year.

Did a little searching.
They have a web site.
http://www.theenginestore.com/index.html

Not clear if they build their own stuff, or buy it.

http://www.marshallengines.com/performance-engines.htm

http://www.blueprintengines.com/popu...tions&pcsci=30

I'd dig around their site a little, and then call them

don't hesitate to buy from Kent, I bought a 383 stroker from him for my 81 a few years ago it was an excellent product. quality work and I had him internaly ballance it for me. he has a crazy way of shipping a short block. he completely wraps the block in foam then cardboard then puts it in a 55 gallon steel drum with a lid. works great he finally found something the shippers won't destroy. he will work with you and build it any way you want they build their own shortblocks.

That's brilliant. Utterly brilliant.

I liked what I read, except for a few spelling bugs...

Awesome! Thanks for the offer. BTW, have you seen the Oklahoma Vette's thread over in the Southwest section? Here's a link. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...878647&page=20

So I guess my next step would be find the right cam for the engine. I'm thinking of having my 113 heads rebuilt with a three angle valve job. 1.6 RR and headers. I'm sure it would sound pretty mean! Now what intake? FAST or ASM runners with ported plenum and Accel intake? Hmm...

Don't mind me, I'm just thinking out loud here.
