I'm going to put on some new Flowmaster mufflers, and I want to know if it's worth getting the Flowmaster Y pipe with "mandrel-bent tubing...that allows for superior exhaust gas flow". Or if the factory Y pipe is just fine.

Probably not much gain with just that. For what year? On my year I would use it along with a new front Y without the precats and a high flow main cat. This would make for a decent system and gains.

if this is for a L98, the rear flowmaster is the same size as stock -if yours is in good shape leave it, unless you booger up the slip joint removing the old mufflers
