Check out this gas mileage!
I took a nice run today and finally was disciplined enough to set the cruise control at 70 and keep it there. I ran at a consistent 33mpg, but hit stop and go traffic the last 30 or 40 miles of my trip. Of all the days not to have a camera with me to back up the 33 mpg claim

Are you sure your computer is calculating correctly?
I have a 1992 and have been making many trips from Santa Fe to San Diego, about 870 miles one way. My dash says I am getting 21 miles per gallon. I manually calculated 25 miles per gallon.

That is interesting that yours marks 31. On my cluster, when I hit the 30 mark, it starts over and reads 03MPG instead of 30. And it won't go higher than that. Then when it drops below that, it picks up again at 29.
Almost look like one of your bulbs is out.

Using US or imperial MPG? US gallons are not the same as imperial gallons.

I'll fill it back up today and figure it out. (If I can afford it that is......)

Then why is one side dimmer than the other. I've had several of those back light bulbs go out, and it always looked almost like yours.

For a start it isnt mine. For seconds its displaying 31mpg which is certainly not out of the question. For thirds, if yours wont display anything above 29mpg then yours is rooted, not his. His is working fine but you thik its him with the bulb out?

I filled it up and did the math, it works out to 27.25 MPG. Still not bad I guess considering the motor its got

All irrelevant as to why one side of cluster is much brighter than the other side.
